Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Longitude mobile application (the "App") operated by Alchemy Apps LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

The App offers both free and paid functionality:

  • Free Tier: Includes core world clock features with a limit on the number of clocks, basic widget support, and a 2-zone time comparison tool.
  • Pro Tier: Unlocks unlimited clocks and groups, premium clock face styles, expanded comparison tools, the World Map feature, and all widget sizes and styles.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Pro features are available through the following purchase options:

  • Monthly Subscription: Auto-renewable subscription billed monthly.
  • Annual Subscription: Auto-renewable subscription billed annually.
  • Lifetime Purchase: One-time purchase granting permanent access to Pro features.

Subscription Terms

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Free Trial

Subscriptions may include a free trial period. During the free trial, you have full access to Pro features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.

All purchases are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.

5. User Data

Your clock configurations, groups, and preferences are your data. The App stores this data locally on your device and optionally syncs it via your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Alchemy Apps LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The GeoNames city database is used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Time zone data is provided by the operating system and may not reflect real-time legislative changes to time zones or daylight saving time rules.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALCHEMY APPS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
